When you arrive, the front office team will extend a friendly welcome and collect your forms, as well as dental insurance information. At this time, we will get a detailed health history, take X-rays if needed, and perform a thorough exam. If we don’t see any evidence of gum disease, our hygienist will clean and polish your teeth.
Dr. Valentine will then assess your whole mouth, carefully checking your gums and soft tissues. She will explain her findings and solicit your input before creating a treatment plan. To provide the finest care and to help remind you when you should come in, we like to set up your next cleaning visit at this appointment to get patients on a regular maintenance schedule.
